Who we are
Éilís Kennedy, hailing from Dingle, Ireland, comes from a family where music and the Gaelic language are deeply embedded in daily life. Fluent in both Irish and English, Kennedy has received critical acclaim for her original songs and adaptations of traditional Irish music. Her album, So Ends this Day earned RTE Folk Awards Best Album Nominee 2020.
Guitarist, composer, arranger and conductor Peter Blanchette is known around the world as the inventor of the 11-string archguitar. His repertoire of internationally acclaimed arrangements and compositions spans from the medieval, renaissance, and baroque music to Irish Music, New Music, and his own original pieces. He has performed on NPR’s A Prarie Home Companion, Thistle and Shamrock, Performance Today, and All Things Considered. He has produced 18 archguitar albums for the Dorian label and his own imprint, Archguitar Music.
